Today 24th January 2019 we entertained a team from Desert Springs captained by my friend Zoe Griffiths.

Both teams had 27 players and we played a pairs match play competition.

The weather was excellent and the after match Buffet put on for us by the Golf Hotel was very well received by all.

The course was in good condition and we had a competition for the straightest drive on Red course hole 4 which was won by Rolf from Golfers International with a shot to 46cm.

We also had a nearest the pin competition on red course hole 7 won by Susan Kenny from Desert Springs.

The overall match result was Golfers International Almerimar 11 points and Desert Springs 3 points.

G.I.A. won 10 matches, halved 2 and lost 2.
