It was a much better golfing day, somewhat cooler and just a gentle breeze. Nevertheless the courses are still playing long and despite playing 9 holes on Classic and front 9 of Masters scoring is still tough. Only 5 players of 16, managed 30 or more points with the best 3 scores being returned by Brian Downey 31 points, John Fielding and Drew McDowell both with 32 points (Drew having the better back 9).
Following golf everyone retired to El Algarbe for superb tapas and drinks, after which the prize presentation took place.
Nearest the pin was awarded to Rudolf Galliart for a shot to 8.55m
For the main competition and following the surprise draw Anne Sharpe was paired with John in third place, Brian and Marion van Dongen were second and Isobel Fielding joined Drew for first prize.

Next week first tee time is 10.18.
