37 golfers played the Classic followed by the front nine of the Masters course. It was a lovely warm Autumn day although a cooler wind arrived later. Scoring was particularly good with 17 players returning 30 or more points, 7 of whom beat their handicaps.
On 37 points were Jörgen Alm and Jan Sjöstrom (Jan in 5th place with better back 9), Agneta Adolfsson 38 points, Inger Strand Sjöstrom 39points, Steve Bradbury 40 points and with a superb 41 points Anita Grönskog.
Following golf and I suspect for the final time this year, most enjoyable drinks and tapas were served outside at Algarbe, where the presentation of prizes also took place.
Nearest the pin was awarded to Sylvia Green for a shot to 2m 59cm.
The surprise draw took place which saw Maya Alm join Agneta for 5th prize, 4th prize was claimed by Jan and Dan Grönskog, Steve and Paul Miles received 3rd prize, for 2nd prize Nick Quine joined Anita, leaving Inger being joined for 1st prize by Kjell Adolfsson.
Next week first tee time is 11.28 on Classic followed by 13.43 on Masters front 9.
