It was a cloudy, cool and breezy day for the 27 players on the Masters course, on top of which the tees presented a challenge being a fair way back as a result of yesterdays competition.
In the circumstances the six golfers who managed to score 30 or more points must be congratulated.
Tapas and drinks were enjoyed,as usual in Algarbe, following which Joan Edgington received the prize for nearest the pin, with a shot to 3m 42cm.
This week there was not a surprise draw. Instead there were prizes for the best 3 ladies' scores and best 3 gentlemens' scores.
For the ladies, Dot Prior scored a very creditable 36 points, to claim first prize, Kristina Olsson received second prize with 32 points and Marianne Liljedahal third prize with 30 points.
Paul Miles broke his handicap with 37 points for first gentlemens' prize, second prize was claimed by Lennart Olsson with 32 points and Stefan Hokfelt received third prize for a score of 31 points.
Next week is the Christmas Competition on the Masters at 11.30am playing with three clubs plus a putter,
