It was a cool start to the day for the 38 players competing on the Classic/Masters courses, but the sun soon warmed everyone up and despite a little wind later on, it became a wonderful golfing day.

Certainly the scores reflected the conditions with over half the competitors scoring 30 or more points. Drinks and tapas were enjoyed in Algarbe following which the prize presentation took place. Nina Taylor was awarded nearest pin prize for ladies with a shot to 2.75 m and Peter Watts drove to 0.85cm to win the gentlemens prize.

Following the surprise draw Maria Bengtsson joined Steve for sixth prize, Lennart and Leigh Burrows claimed fifth prize, fourth prize was awarded to Anita and Stefan Hokfelt, keeping it in the family, Ingrid Hokfelt joined Peter for third prize, Doug was joined by Anne Nolan for second prize with first prize going to Baz and Marianne Liljedahl.
