Following the very cold weather in the middle and end of last week, it was good to have the warm sunshine and little wind for the 37 players competing on the Classic/Masters courses.

Scores overall however were a little below par with only 14 people recording 30 or more points. Best of the day and receiving prizes were Dot Prior, Marianne Lildejahl and Inger Strand Sjöestrom 33 points, Baz Prior 34 points, Adrian Gracey 36 points and the only person to beat their handicap, Jörgen Alm 37 points

Following most enjoyable drinks and tapas in Algarbe, the presentation of prizes took place.

Nearest the pin was won by Bob Lowry for a shot to 2m 45cm.

Following the surprise draw Jörgen was joined by Rolf Jonegard for 6th prize, Dot and Albert Taylor received 5th prize, Agneta Adolfsson joined Marianne for 4th prize, 3rd prize was claimed by Baz and Margaret Scannell, 2nd was awarded to Inger and Nina Taylor Leaving first prize to be collected by Adrian and Rudolf Galliart

Before proceedings ended best wishes for a happy birthday were extended to John Gracey who celebrates his 80th on Sunday 29th.
