It was a wonderful day, the sun was very warm and there was very little wind. The 43 competitors who played the Masters certainly made the most of the conditions with 26 of them returning 30 points or more.
In order to qualify for a prize you had to at least play to your handicap, which was achieved by Thea Dekker, Mick Clarke, Kristina Olsson and Bobby Cuddy (Thea losing out on prizes following countback. Sune returned a magnificent 37 points, but best of the day were Steve Bradbury and Rosemary Moody 38 points (Steve having better back 9)
Following golf, drinks and tapas were enjoyed in Algarbe after which the prize presentation took place.
Nearest pin was won by Sylvia Green for a shot to 3m 79cm.
For the main competition and following the surprise draw Sune and Thomas Bengtsson, were awarded 6th prize, 5th prize was claimed by Kristina and Derek Kemp, 4th was received by Mick and Margaret Scannell, Dot Prior joined Steve for 3rd prize, claiming second prize was awarded to Bobby and Agneta Adolfsson, whilst the main prize was received by Rosemary and Jörgen Alm.
Next week first tee time will be 11.12 on Classic, followed by 13.30 on Masters front 9.
