We were very fortunate, rain was forecast but did not appear and despite a little wind scores overall were pretty good with 14 players scoring 30 points or more. Agneta Adolfsson with 34 points just missed out on the prizes but her husband Kjell with 35 points was in the prizes along with Doug Kemp and Baz Prior also 35 points. Lillian Jönegård scored 36 points for overall 2nd place with best of the day being returned by Mike Gray 37 points.
Drinks and tapas were enjoyed in Algarbe following which the prize presentation took place.
Nearest the pin was awarded to Louise Shepherd for a shot to 4m 44cm on 8th hole Masters 3.
A surprise draw took place which paired Ingrid Hokfelt with Lillian for 5th prize, Steve Bradbury collected 4th prize alongside Kjell, Paul Miles joined Baz for 3rd prize whilst Rosemary Moody was drawn with Doug for 2nd prize. First prize however went rightfully to Mike Gray who was joined by John Williams.
Next week there is no regular Monday golf due to an away weekend at Valle del Este.
