Monday's weather was only slightly better, nevertheless everyone managed to play in the "usual Monday singles stableford competition". Again despite the weather there were some good scores (see results section).
Karen's bar was again the venue for the surprise draw and presentation of prizes.
First prize was presented to Dot Prior, with Mel Moody drawn as her partner, Rolf Jönegård was drawn with Stefan Hokfelt for second prize and a guest, John Wardley joined Lennart Olsson for third prize.
Steve Bradbury very generously sponsored prizes for the best lady and gentleman over the two days, presenting gifts to Michelle O'Keefe and Sune Jönnson. A consolation gift was also awarded to Avril Gray.
A good weekend was had by all and half the party headed for home. However as it was Kristina Olsson's birthday and it was John Flynn's the following day, the rest of the group convened at Shea's Restaraunt in Mojacar where a most enjoyable evening of excellent wine and food was enjoyed by all and particularly the "birthday girl and boy".
