Due to Almerimar courses being very busy, Monday golfers this week played an away day at Alboran. The weather was superb with plenty of sunshine and little if any wind. With the course in good condition but with pretty slick greens, scoring was not easy. However a few people managed 30 or more points. Most notable were (in best back 9 order) Ingrid Hokfelt, Marianne Liljedahl, John Fielding and Maria Hoovers all with 36 points.

Afterwards drinks and tapas were enjoyed at the course chiringuito where the surprise draw also took place, resulting in Marianne being joined by Bill Egan for fourth prize. Third prize was awarded to Maria and Barbara Goulder, Ingrid and Michelle O'Keefe claimed second prize. This left John Fielding who was joined by Rudolf Galliart to claim first prize.
