It was a wonderful day for golf, sunny, warm and little breeze. The Masters 3 (Classic) course, though improved from last week, still needs further improvement. However, with the introduction of forward and back yellow and red tees it still presented a more interesting challenge for the 28 golfers. Nevertheless,19 of the group managed to score 30 or more points.
Following drinks and tapas at Los Sabores, the prize giving took place. There was a tie for 6th place Hans Ooft and John Fielding scored 34 points, with John claiming the prize for a better back 9. 5th prize was claimed by Lennart Olsson with 35 points. Wilhelm Krings score of 36 points earned him 4th prize. There was also a tie for 2nd and 3rd with a score of 37 points, Marion van Dongen Torman having a better back 9 than Doug Kemp to claim 2nd prize with Doug 3rd
Best of the day however and claiming 1st prize was Alan Sharpe with a great score of 43 points (and a sizeable handicap cut).
Next week, again twice around Masters 3 (Classic), first tee 12.56.
