Following a series of very windy days 38 players were delighted to have a reasonable calm sunny, sobeit, a little chilly at times, day to play the Monday competition.
Overall scores reflected the conditions with 19 players returning 30 or more points.
Best of the day and guaranteed a prize, were Paul Thomas 37 points,Rudolph Galliart 36 points, Heather Jamieson and Rosemary Moody 35 points and Jim Connelly 34 points.
Following drinks and tapas in Los Sobores John Witham receive a prize for nearest the pin.
A surprise draw resulted in Heather and Ingrid Hokfelt receiving 1st prize, second prize, Rosemary and Aimé Hosay, 3rd, Rudolph and Herman van der Vlis, 4th prize was received by Paul and Herman Liekins and 5th prize Jim and Jan Sjöstrom.
I would like to thank David Holden for his help this week with the checking in of everybody, doing the scores and also the presentation, in the absence of Mel.
Next week Marianne and Sune will organise Wednesday golf on Monday. Monday golf will return on April 30.
