Monday 13 August 2018

Unusually it was a cloudy, humid start to the day, though the sun did arrive later.

18 golfers once again challenged the Masters course and although the course, in general, is in excellent condition the greens were very slow and unpredictable and probably part of the reason why the scoring was relatively low.

Only 8 people managed 30 or more points, with 31 points qualifying for a 4th prize, Rosemary Moody managing to beat Rudolph Galliart, Richard Öberg and Jonas Bengtsson on back 9/6 rule.

3rd prize was awarded to Herman van der Vlis, 32 points, 2nd to Thomas Bengtsson 33 points and 1st with 34 points Paul Miles.

Following drinks and tapas in Los Sabores, nearest pin ladies prize was claimed by Ingrid Furugrd Öberg, a shot to 6m 48cm and for the gents, a shot to 2m 25cm, Herman van der Vlis.

Next week tee time 10.02.
