Twice around the classic in glorious sunshine, was the challenge for Los Amigos on Friday the 13th. Seventeen starters meant 5 teams, with some help from Doris competed in the "waltz scramble".
After some rechecks on the scorecards the team of Donal, Johnny Mac and Rosemary took the top place just ahead of Robbie, Hilton and Elaine T. Bob, Avril and Elaine finished 3rd.
Bob and Di provided a very generous sponsorship so we had 4 nearest the pins, although only three were won. Donal on the men's 8th with Elaine and Geraldine on the 8th and 10th respectively. Robbie and Elaine took the two Longest drives.
We went to the Galley for some delicious tapas and drinks. Thanks to the team there who really looked after us .
Next week Joan is the organiser and our first tee time is 10.24.
