23 players and Doris played a Stableford competition with the best two scores to count in teams of three.
It was a very warm and sunny day and the wind joined us on the second nine and it was welcomed by most of us as it helped to cool us down.
We had three prizes and nearest the pin on the 17th hole for men and ladies.
The winners were 1st Larry, Elaine and Doris with 79 points
2nd John Wil, Jonny Mac and Di 72 points
3rd Des, Elaine T and Hilton with 72 points losing out on the back nine.
It was Larry and Elaine’s day as they won nearest the pin respectively.
We met for prize giving and Tapas at Algarbe where Puri looked after us.
I think a good day was had by all.
