We were unlucky again this year with the weather. On the 9th of March it was terrible weather, wind and rain. Our competition was cancelled and moved to Monday, thanks to Rosemary who gave us her tee times for Monday 11th March.
However, we did have the party on Saturday and 44 participants had a nice evening in the Club House with good food and dancing to music by a DJ.
On Monday, the weather was good again, 22 teams played greensome at the White/Red course. The men played from the blue tee and the ladies from the orange tee. We had prize giving at The Stumble Inn. Winners of the Trophy were Geraldine and Bill with 47 points. We had many prizes which were all sponsored.
Sponsors were Playa Serena and Alboran through Raffa, the Golf Club, Ingrid and Richard, Debbie, Lennart and Kristina. We also had nearest pin which were won by Fiona and David H and straightest drive which were won by Bob and Elaine T. Other results can be found on the Website Golfersia/Los Amigos.
In the end we had a nice Ladies Invitation this year as well.
