Twelve pairs turned out for what the organisers, (Donal and Geraldine) hope will be an annual event in this format.
We played a partner scramble, which appears to have been enjoyed by all.
The scores are a reflection of the weather conditions, with the average score being 6 over par.Â
This highlights the quality of performance of the winners Des and Elaine, who battled hard all day to pip Donal and Geraldine by a single point.Â
A brilliant birdie at the "white 9" 18th hole to win the day with 72.85.
